FAQ
How do I reserve a date for either a cake or catering service?
In order to reserve a date, a $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the day and the balance is due a week prior to the event. If you meet with us, but do not leave a deposit, it is not scheduled.
Will I be required to return any items that are used for my event?
Depending on what is ordered, a return slip will be left when a service is delivered and will list everything that needs to be brought back to us. All cake stands, plates, pillars, mirrors, fountains, and stairs will need to be returned. They are not disposable. Reception centers also do not return supplies used for your cake.
Do I need to make an appointment or do you have regular business hours?
We meet with people by appointment only. We are very flexible with our appointments and are known to do them early in the morning, later in the evening, or in the middle of the day.
If I am having an outside wedding, are there any special considerations I should be aware of?
When having an outside wedding, we recommend that your cake table is in the shade. The table must also be level. If a fountain is being used, there must be electricity for it to work and an extension cord may be needed. We also recommend delivering the cake as close to the reception as possible or keeping it in a cool place until absolutely needed.
If I order catering, will anything need to be refrigerated?
Yes, when we prepare for a catering job, we always refrigerate anything that needs to be kept cold such as sandwiches, fruits, vegetables, potato salads, etc. However; when we deliver, there are foods that will still need to be refrigerated until they are ready to be served.
If I order catering, does it include the dishes, napkins, and/or silverware?
No, when you order catering the prices are for the food only. You will be required to purchase any plates, cups, napkins, and/or silverware that will be needed for the reception.
